At 16 oz, its hybrid shell construction balances a durable exterior with a lightweight in-mold base, keeping weight minimal without sacrificing the structural integrity that technical alpine terrain demands. Zonal KOROYD and MIPS work together to cover energy absorption and rotational impact protection, and triple certification. The Smith Flexible Fit System with BOA delivers micro-adjustable precision and collapses into the helmet itself for easy packing, while elastic side tethers offer a secure external attachment option when it needs to ride on the outside of your pack. Thirty-three fixed vents keep airflow moving and goggles fog-free on the skin track and the descent, and integrated headlamp strap routing keeps your light stable when the day runs long.
